Flowers for My Mothers Birthday

Today is my deceased mothers birthday and I thought I would take some photos of the Quince in bloom as "a memory for the day" shot.  As I was out there trying to find just the right buds, I was totally distracted (which is not hard) by the sky.  These clouds came first....do you see anything?

1)

2)

3)

these came right behind them....

4)

5)

6)

 Then I remembered the blooms....

7)

8)

9)

Then I had to check the sky one more time....and there were these....

10)

11)

I see something in every one of these cloud shots, anybody else?

Happy Birthday Mom!  Thank you for sending beautiful greetings on your special day and I hope you enjoy the flowers!

I saw alot of things in the clouds today, but I'll wait to see what you say before I tell you what I see. I feel I was in the presence of my Mother today, I loved her hands, they were always so soft :)

Hahaha....ok. I see a tree with 3 branches....like this \ l / The owl is on the left inside branch; round body and 2 wide eyes...now do you see it? And it's a spotted owl.

I think I see it! If it's where I'm looking, it would be in the nose/muzzle area of the dog I see. The left eye of the owl would be the black part of the dogs nose, and the owls body would be where the dogs lips and mouth are.

Gosh, where do I begin? First, I was completely shocked to see a comment from you, and thrilled that you took the time to visit and comment.

I did feel mom yesterday, these were taken after we left the cemetary and after I told her happy birthday 100 times. I wish you could have seen and felt it with me or on your own, it was an amazing display in the sky, with what I considered to be a message. I don't think dad realized what day it was so I didn't say anything to him, was I right or wrong?

Now that you've been here and made your first comment....I hope you'll come back and visit some other columns and find some wonderful friends here to share with. There are alot of groups for animals that I know you would enjoy and just about everyone here has pets :)

I love you and I'm glad you enjoyed the photos, and you also are a wonderful & loving sister, thank you!

Hello Dare. I just stopped by to say that. I'm not good at the what do you see questions because in #10 and 11 I see a cats face. See what I mean?

January is a good Birth month. I bet your mom was a lot like you, a caring and wonderful person.

Hi bobby, thanks for stopping by. The beautiful thing about cloud guessing is that no one is right or wrong....we see what we see :) I'm still looking for the cats face...I'll find it.

I think my mom was a far better person than I am, saner, calmer. One of her most famous sayings about me was "you dissect everything".....she didn't say it in a nice way either. I overthink and literally dissect everything....words, actions, inferences...everything, it drove her nuts, lol. But like I told her over and over, how else am I going to know the answer to the question if I don't dissect it? Yes, I am moderately OCD.

1, 2, & 3 - A face with some type of head dress and wings top left, the 2 connected clouds - emerging dragon faces that become clearer in #3.

4 & 5 - a dogs face, start at the center dark spot and look down to see the lips and mouth, up and to the right to see the eye. 5 only catches from the bottom of the eyes down. Looks like my mothers little dog :)

6 - I didn't really catch what I wanted but it was 2 figures that looked like they were kissing.

10 & 11 - My mothers hands gently meant to touch my face and send a little breeze or hello.

Thanks everyone for taking a look and telling us what you see.

Love the pictures Dare. Quince is a pretty plant and a sticky one too. But well worth getting stuck to smell the blooms.

The clouds are very interesting but today I guess I'm not thinking outside the box - I do see the angel though in 1.

Look at the two circles in the cloud (look at #5 also) and then look down towards where a beak would be. We don't need no psychologist to tell us we are off kilter. We tell each other for free :)

Just kind of on a sabbatical I guess DTH. It was getting to where the rash of articles posted on religion and politics were just getting me so riled up and on my soap box I needed to take a breather! When I start soap boxing these two topics it starts to leak into my person beyond the computer and that's not a good thing. I almost was going to quit again and hubby talked me down and just suggested I lay low for a bit. It helps. My hubby holds my kite string lol. Hope all is well at your campfire also - you had a lot going on there. (((hugs back atcha!)))

That's why I limit myself on those threads. I might pick one or two to read and MAYBE make a comment, but for the most part I stay away from them because they do the same thing to me. Dodge and evade...modus operendi, lol!

Beautiful sentiments for your late mother, DTH. You are so precious.

Jackie, if you read this, please know that not everyone on this vine is harsh and there can be great moments. I also take the occasional break from the vine (for sanity). However, my wonderful friend, DTH, has magically influenced me with her gentleness and philosophy. I resisted at first, but after a long careful pause, I agreed with her approach about personal religious beliefs and will always be grateful. She has helped me grow to be more tolerant. We are two warriors who have survived terrible events and have much in common.

Awwww JM...you are a precious soul also. Thank you. I'm so glad we had that conversation and both came away having learned something and are special friends. When I read your comment last night on the other thread, I have to admit to having tears in my eyes and joy in my heart and still feel the lightness this morning. You, my friend, are a special soul that has much to offer in many conversations and I look forward to reading more of your comments. :)

JM thank you for writing this comment. I try very hard to be tolerant of other folks because that's practicing what I preach but sometimes it's hard to keep my "typers" from typing when I should about religion and political topics! I agree - an occasional sanity break helps and DTH is truly a special soul who I feel priviledged to have connected to here. Finding kindred souls is rare for me and I am grateful for the Vine being a relatively safe place to find them!
